Do I need an Educational or Cocational

Return-To-Work Counselor (VRTWC)?

How are they involved in the voucher process?

You are not required to select a vocational return to work counselor (VRTWC),  however they do know the process and they can streamline the process of getting back to work a little faster for you.

By using one of these experts you can choose a training program that is right for you in many ways,  and it is YOUR program, not the insurance company's.    It is also  in step with your talents, skills.  and medical restrictions. VRTWCs are paid to help injured workers figure out a vocational goal and a return to work plan. whatever it might be.

Because of our extensive knowledge in both Workers' Compensation and Education,  we have many opportunities for you regardless of where you are and/or where you want to finish.

How are they involved in the voucher process?

The claims administrator pays the VRTWC the amount specified in the voucher. In no event shall the amount paid to a VRTWC be more than 10 percent of the total value of the voucher.

However,  if you wish to outside of your voucher create a new program for yourself and your education,  additional services can be provided for outside of the voucher.  Our goal is to get you into a program that is educationally, socially,  developmentally correct while addressing your limitations
